Who are these Brazilian divinities, as sensitive to alcohol as to justice? To the temptation of the flesh as to good? and who endow the Macumba and the Candomble with religious aura that puts man and gods on the same level?
The film follows the path of this religious cult from the initiation ceremonies and miraculous healings achieved by its priests when possessed, to the intimity of the greatest therapy in the world : carnaval.
